When I was a child, my family spent a lot of time in the tropical region of Hawaii. The beauty of that area was so incredible, and the smell of the air was intoxicating. My fascination with tropical fish started when we would go snorkeling in the clear blue water of the Pacific. The clarity of the aqua blue water and the brilliancy of the undersea creatures piqued my creativity at a young age. Early on I had a growing love affair with the floral life and the gorgeous ocean of the islands, which transferred to my adult life.
